The Cooperative is proud to present a specialty coffee from Laos. Cultivated from antique Arabica rootstock planted by French colonists in the 1920's, our coffee is shade grown in jungle forests of the Bolven Plateau in Southern Laos. The Plateau, with ample rainfall, cool temperatures and rich volcanic soil, reaches an elevation of over 1300 meters at 15 degrees latitude - perfect conditions for growing specialty coffee.

If you are planning a trip to Laos or find yourself in the neighborhood, we would be glad to host you at our facilities in the cool climate of the Plateau, just 50km east of Pakse. Simply contact Green Discovery in Pakse at www.greendiscoverylaos.com and they can make arrangements. In addition to visiting the farmers and their farms, the plateau has excellent treking opportunities. The best resource for general ecotourism in Laos is www.ecotourismlaos.com.
